The NHS website has information, advice and help for children, teenagers, students and parents on mental health problems including depression, anxiety and stress.

The Lighthouse is a service that provides a safe space to support children and young people, from 0-18, in their recovery from sexual abuse or exploitation. It will also support adults aged 18-25 with learning disabilities if The Lighthouse service best meets their needs. They accept self-referrals and referrals from professionals for children and young people in Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington.

Contact Barnardo’s Tiger Light service which provides early emotional support for children and young people, aged 3-18 (and their families), who have disclosed sexual abuse. They provide this service in Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster via referral by relevant professionals in the borough.

The National Crime Agency's CEOP Education team, formerly known as ‘Think U Know’, aim to help protect children and young people from online child sexual abuse. They have age-specific resources for children, young people and their families. You can also report any online sexual abuse via their page’s report button.

London Survivors Gateway are a gateway to specialist services in London that provide information, support and help to anyone who has been affected by rape, sexual assault, sexual abuse or any form of sexual violence at any time in their lives. Samaritans offer a safe place for you to talk any time you like, in your own way – about whatever’s getting to you.

The National Association for People Abused in Childhood (NAPAC) is the UK’s leading national charity offering support to adult survivors of all types of childhood abuse, including physical, sexual and emotional abuse and neglect.

One In Four specialises in supporting survivors of sexual violence, domestic violence and abuse, particularly survivors of child sexual abuse and trauma. Their support includes long-term counselling for over-18s, survivor groups and workshops, advocacy and helping with reporting abuse, and other resources.

The Survivors Trust is the largest umbrella agency for specialist rape and sexual abuse services in the UK, having 120 member agencies based in the UK and Ireland providing information, advice, support and therapy. Their services work with victims and survivors of all ages, all genders, of all forms of sexual violence, sexual abuse and sexual exploitation, including support for partners and family members.

My NanBee is an online community for Tamil women. The group uses social media platforms to support women so they can open up and share their experiences in a safe and confidential space. Safe2Talk are a non-judgemental space for women and girls in Redbridge who have experienced sexual assault, harassment, or abuse to come and speak one-on-one with female experts including a police officer, domestic abuse advocate, housing officer, immigration specialist, solicitor.
This service is usually on the last Monday of each month at the Fullwell Cross Library in Barkingside and next upcoming sessions can be found on the council’s website.

The Refuge Eastern European Service is a support service for women and girls affected by gender-based violence and/or abuse within intimate or family relationships. The service is a culturally specific specialist domestic abuse support service run by Eastern European outreach workers who speak Romanian, Russian and Lithuanian.

The Revenge Porn Helpline are a UK service supporting adults (aged 18+) who are experiencing intimate image abuse, also known as, revenge porn. The Helpline was established in 2015 alongside the legislation which made it an offence to share intimate images or videos of someone, either on or offline, without their consent with the intention of causing distress. The Helpline is run by a small team of passionate and motivated individuals who are here and ready to help.

Specialist Support

Respond provide a range of trauma-informed services for children, young people, adults and professionals. These include psychotherapy, advocacy, campaigning and other support services which aim to prevent abuse and equip individuals and their families to come to terms with their experiences and live more positive lives. They also provide specialist training, supervision, reflective practice and consultancy to equip agencies and providers in developing and delivering trauma-informed services.

Previously known as Mosac, We Stand offers a range of support services and information for families affected by child sexual abuse. Their support is for non-abusing parents and carers across the UK. All services are accessed via their national helpline.

Act Fast provides support for non-abusive parents and carers of children who have suffered Child Sexual Abuse (CSA), Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) or sexual assault. We also provide support for adult family members and partners of individuals who have accessed Indecent Images of Children (IIOC). They provide trauma support psychoeducation, have counselling services and run support groups.
Support for Abusers

If you are abusing your partner, you can stop and get help to change your behaviour. There are trained advisors at Respect who can provide help and support to men or women who are abusing their partners. A friendly Helpline Advisor will listen to you without judgement and give you honest advice. They also have a webchat service that is open Thursday 2pm-4pm.

The Lucy Faithfull Foundation is the only UK-wide child protection charity dedicated solely to preventing child sexual abuse.
