mind OUT

MindOut is a mental health service run by and for lesbian, gay men, bisexual, trans, and queer people. They work to improve the mental health and well-being of LGBTQ communities and to make mental health a community concern. Their services are for LGBTQ people aged 18+ who are based in Brighton and Hove, with the exception of our Online Support service which is available globally. They have online chat available with their changing opening times on their website.

Black Trans Alliance

Black Trans Alliance is a black queer and trans-led non-profit organization that supports black trans and non-binary people in London and the wider community. BTA’s mission is to support, protect and amplify the voice of black transgender persons in London and the wider community; through advocacy, education, visibility and empowerment. They have a peer-to-peer support service that can be signed up for on their website.

The LGBT Foundation are a national charity with LGBTQ+ health and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do. Mermaids

Mermaids has been supporting transgender, nonbinary and gender-diverse children, young people, and their families since 1995. It is now one of the UK’s leading LGBTQ+ charities, empowering thousands of people with its secure online communities, local community groups, helpline services, web resources, events and residential weekends.
